Future Cities Lab is proud to announce our collaboration with CMG Landscape Architecture, Page & Turnbull and Arup as one of four finalist teams in the St. James Park Design Competition in San Jose, California. Our design for a Levitt Pavilion proposes an open, ribbon-like structure that is welcoming for leisurely use in the day that can also quickly transform into an extraordinary venue for outdoor music and performance; an iconic sculptural structure with undulating shade canopy wings. You can see our full proposal here.
Final presentations will be held this Saturday, October 15th, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in San Jose. You can view all of the designs here. And if you feel our proposal should move forward please vote for our project here and here. Thank you for your support!
